MARGINAL’ CHANGES TO DAIRY POLICY IN NAFTA 2.0 –

Trade experts are predicting only small changes to Canada’s dairy policy under a newly-proposed NAFTA deal, which is expected next week. Canada’s dairy market, which is protected by high tariffs and makes it difficult for U.S. dairy farmers to sell milk across the border, has been a bone of contention in 23-year-old trade deal.
