FARMER OPTIMISM DECLINING

The Ag Economy Barometer, a monthly survey conducted by Purdue ag economists, found that the percentage of farmers expecting ‘bad times’ for the ag economy in the year ahead climbed to 62 percent in the November survey. The number of farmers expecting ‘bad times’ for the ag economy has been increasing since July, when it hit a summertime low of 50 percent. (Herald & Review)
