Ag Science Grants Available

Looking to grow an educational program or project in ag science? Check out the Ag Science grant from McLean County Farm Bureau to help make your ideas for hands-on learning a reality.

Up to $2,500 is available each year for McLean County educators grades K-12.

Project must be directly related to Ag Science: soil, plant or animal sciences, application of computer science, mechanics, technology, chemistry, physics or environmental sciences

Areas of focus:

  • Purple Plow Challenge – visit http://www.purpleplowchallenge.org/ for details
  • Biotechnology, DNA & genetics
  • Soil fertility, plant nutrients & nutrient management
  • Precision technology & equipment – GIS, mapping, drones, etc
  • Animal Science – livestock genetics, nutrition
