U.S. CALLS FOR NAFTA ‘SUNSET CLAUSE’

During the fourth round of NAFTA talks this week, the U.S. ramped up tensions by proposing the trade deal expire every five years unless the U.S., Canada and Mexico all agree it should continue. Canadian and Mexican officials say such an agreement would lead to uncertainty surrounding the deal, followed by decreased investment. (Reuters)
