EPA TO CHANGE LINE UP FOR ADVISORY BOARDS

The U.S. EPA Tuesday will announce it will bar scientists who have won agency-awarded grants in the past from serving on its independent advisory boards. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt last week questioned the independence of scientists who have won EPA research grants; critics say the move could open the door to more industry-friendly advisors and panels.
