Credit rating agency Fitch announced Wednesday it would not downgrade Illinois to junk bond status, allowing the state to stay at investment grade. The agency said, however, that the state shows growth risks because of uncertainties with the budget and school funding. Financial experts said Fitch’s decisions shows Illinois is moving in the right direction, but has a long way to go. (FOX Illinois)
