Senate GOP Tuesday finally succeeded in opening debate on their bill to repeal and replace the ACA on a 51-50 vote with Vice President Mike Pence breaking the tie. But hours later, they were handed another defeat when the bill failed to get enough votes for approval with nine of 52 Republicans voting against it. The Senate will continue debate on the bill this week, likely ending in passage of a version of the ACA without a handful of the law’s most unpopular provisions. (Reuters)
