GOP MAY TRY TO FIX ACA

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell Thursday said that if his party fails to secure 50 votes for its plan to repeal and replace the ACA, it will have no choice but to work with Senate Democrats to draft a more modest bill to shore up the ACA. “If my side is unable to agree on an adequate replacement, then some kind of action with regard to the private health insurance market must occur,” McConnell said.
