The @USDA Friday said talks on restarting U.S. beef exports to China are moving fast and final details should be in place by early June. Setting technical details early would mean beef companies like Tyson Foods and Cargill can sign contracts with Chinese buyers to meet the overall deadline of mid-July. As part of the deal, U.S. ranchers will face tests over the use of growth-promoting drugs, and must log animals’ movements. (Reuters)
