63% of rural Americans say they have a broadband internet connection at home, up from 35% in 2007,  according to a new Pew Research Center survey. But the newest numbers show rural Americans still lag behind non-rural Americans in digital use, with rural Americans 10 percentage points less likely than Americans overall to have home broadband. Rural adults are also less likely to have multiple devices (tablets, smartphones, and laptop computers) that enable them to go online.
