Prime Timers Tour New Ag History Exhibit

Russell Higgins (left) visits with Sam and Kay Foster during the Prime Timers tour of the new farm history exhibit at the McLean County Museum of History April 27.

Stories, photos and artifacts from local farmers past and present illustrate more than 200 years of farming in the new agricultural history exhibit at the McLean County Museum of History.

McLean County Farm Bureau Prime Timers had the chance to relive and remember their own farming experiences with a visit to the exhibit April 27.

Thirty-seven Farm Bureau members of retirement age enjoyed lunch and tour.

The new permanent exhibit “Challenges, Choices & Change: Farming in the Great Corn Belt” opened to the public March 25.
