Americans’ taste for #pork is growing so much that the USDA predicts pork production will equal, and occasionally exceed, that of beef by the end of 2018. The increased demand for pork is due to growing foreign markets as well as domestic demand from the rising influence of Asian cuisines; increased patronage of fast-food breakfasts which include pork sausage and bacon; changing demographics, including an increased Latino population; and Americans’ love of all things bacon.
