In a tight 217-213 vote, the U.S. House of Representatives Thursday passed the GOP-backed American Health Care Act, repealing the Affordable Care Act and moving the legislation to the Senate for a vote. However, the Senate is unlikely to act on the legislation soon as it will not get the 51 votes needed to pass as it is written. Instead, some key GOP senators are already pushing it asked to write their own bill. (Bloomberg)
