Following news last week that Congress was notified of President Donald Trump’s plan to rework NAFTA, farmers across the Midwest were bracing themselves for potential pitfalls of rewriting a deal which has so heavily benefitted agriculture. “The trade agreements that we’ve had have been very beneficial,” said Stephen Censky, CEO, American Soybean Association. “We need to take care not to blow the significant gains that agriculture has won.” (News-Gazette)
