Rain was in the forecast this weekend, dumping 4 to 5 inches across Central Illinois and 9 to 10 inches in Southern Illinois. The resulting flooding could potentially have washed away planted crops and will further delay planting for those who haven’t planted yet. “We’re waiting to see what’s been planted and whether or not it’s all washed out,” said Tim Stock, executive vice president, Macon County Farm Bureau.
