#Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan Monday said he’s willing to work with Gov. Bruce Rauner to see if an deal can be reached on some of Rauner’s non-budget agenda items. In a statement, Madigan said passing a permanent budget should still be everyone’s focus, but he’s will to “work with the governor to identify areas of his agenda where compromise can be reached.” (State Journal-Register)
