WINNERS AND LOSERS IN THE #TRADE BATTLE

The U.S. portion of global exports – especially agricultural exports – has fallen from 26% in 2000 to 18% in 2015. While U.S. exports rose, other countries’ exports have risen faster, making the U.S. less central to ag trade. To add insult to injury, President Donald Trump’s aggressive positions on U.S. trade could threaten exports further, especially as other countries look elsewhere for ag products. (Bloomberg)
