U.S. GROUPS SEEK BETTER ACCESS TO #CHINA

The American Chamber of Commerce in China today appealed to Chinese authorities to ease import restriction on agricultural goods, including GM seeds and other biotechnology. The group wants a quicker review of foreign biotechnology products, and an end to restrictions on beef and pork imports, saying the changes would improve the food supply for China’s consumers and create new opportunities for Chines and foreign companies.
