U.S. farmers and ag organizations are lobbying hard on both sides of the Mexico border to try to ensure that any work on the 23-year-old NAFTA trade deal doesn’t turn U.S. farm exports into collateral damage. Groups have been working to strengthen ties with Mexican clients and government officials due to concerns the country could add tariffs on goods if the U.S. pulls out of NAFTA. (Wall Street Journal)
