Hit hard by a disease that depletes citrus trees and a dramatic decline in orange-juice consumption, citrus farmers are eager to try new crops. Florida’s citrus industry is seeking alternatives from olives to hops, pomegranates to peaches. Much of the state’s signature produce – oranges, grapefruits and tangerines has been hit by an incurable disease called citrus greening that has ravaged groves. (Wall Street Journal)
