SENATE KICKS BUDGET VOTE TO FEB.

Illinois senators left Springfield Thursday without voting on a proposed budget. Senate leaders said the decision not to vote wasn’t a sign that the plan had stalled, rather bills that make up the package were still being revised. “Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re to the point of being able to take a vote,” said Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno. “That is by no means a statement that we are backing off of this effort.” (State Journal-Register)
