The Peoria County Agriculture in the Classroom program this month will bring information about dairy farming and industry processes to approximately 4,500 third- through sixth-grade students in 210 classrooms. Students will learn more about how milk moves from the farm to the table, and also will be asked a question as part of photo contest. The winning classroom will visit a local dairy later in the year to see dairy farming first hand. (Peoria Journal-Star)
