IL HOUSE COMMITTEE BACKS EXELON BILL

The Illinois House Energy Committee voted yesterday to send the Future Energy Jobs bill, also known as the Exelon bill, to the House floor. The bill, which will help Exelon to avoid shuttering two Illinois nuclear plants, will provide $235 million a year for the company for 13 years as a reward for producing clean energy.
