#HARVEST16 NEARLY FINISHED … NOW WHAT?

With a huge harvest nearly in the books, University of Illinois economist Darrel Good expects sub-$4 corn prices to continue for some time. The best chances at a price increase, Good says, would come with a decrease in U.S. corn acres next year or a significant increase in corn demand. AgriVisor Senior Market Analyst Dale Durchholz says more demand – and better prices – could be coming. “Long term, I think there are some things brewing that could bring us some better things,” he said  (FarmWeekNow.com)
