The Cubs edged the Indians last night to end their 108-year World Series championship curse in a 10-inning nail-biter. Still, Cleveland bested Chicago in one area: hot dog sales this season. The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council says Cleveland’s Progressive Field served 1.25 million hot dogs, compared with 1 million at Wrigley Field. I guess that’s one of the titles we’re happy to let them have. The other? Cleveland is now home to the longest-running World Series title drought, having won their last championship in 1948.
