KER-SPLAT: MORTON PUMPKINS ALWAYS NAIL THE LANDING

Pumpkins don’t survive the Morton Punkin Chuckin’ Contest. They split in mid-air or splat when they hit the ground. But the contest, which began in 1996, is the second-oldest competition of its kind in the country behind the world Championships in Delaware, as reported by the Peoria Journal Star.
