The chair and vice chair of the President’s Export Council says the Trans-Pacific Partnership is being held hostage by “the most divisive presidential campaign in memory,” in a Wednesday commentary featured in the Chicago Tribune. Authors Ursula M. Burns and Arne M. Sorenson, who originally published the commentary in the Washington Post, argue that Americans should care about TPP because TPP would result in increases in annual real income, exports and gross domestic product in the U.S.
