A group of pork producers from Mexico, China and Colombia are visiting the U.S., and central Illinois, this week to learn about the agriculture industry. Organized through the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the tour was put together in an effort to increase export sales for the Illinois pork industry. Tour participants visited a GSI manufacturing plant in Taylorville and also will visit the Chicago Board of Trade and the World Pork Expo. (Herald & Review)
