NEW CALORIE COUNTS MAY CHANGE EATING HABITS

As @US_FDA gets ready to unveil new calorie labeling regulations next spring, experts say knowing the calorie count of food ordered online may change consumers’ eating habits. A new study from researchers at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pennsylvania suggests that revised calorie counts at consumers’ fingertips will help them distinguish between foods that seem healthy, and actually are healthy, leading to a change in what they order.
