Bob Hopp was not planning to build treehouses on his 10-acre property near Nauvoo and wasn’t planning to rent them out. But after watching “Treehouse Masters” on TV, he decided to try it out.  Now, Hopp operates Ten Acre Treehouses, where people can stay overnight in two custom-built treehouses. Hopp said 90% of visitors are from Chicago, who are looking to get away from the city, as reported by the Quincy Herald Whig.
