Summer ‘Local Link’ Online

The algae growing in this constructed wetland near Money Creek feeds on nutrients in the water. Sometimes described as ‘nature’s kidneys’, wetlands can act as a filter, removing excess nutrients from the water before it flows downstream.

Find out how constructed wetlands can improve water quality plus ways to support the McLean County Farm Bureau Foundation and a preview of the 2016 McLean County Fair  in the latest edition of Local Link.

Find it inside your Summer 2016 Partners magazine (for Associate members), or click here to read it online.

Voting members who receive FarmWeek can now subscribe to Partners for $10 – click here to subscribe.
