NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAYS EL NINO MEANS MILDER WINTER

Early indications suggest Illinois could see a warmer, drier winter this season, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS seasonal reports issued last week contradicts what the Old Farmer’s Almanac forecasts for the coming winter – ice and frigid temps for the Midwest, as reported by the Register Mail.
