FAA DRONE RULES SOON

Published reports say the FAA will unveil its new rules for commercial drone operations, but it’s likely to disappoint proponents of the technology.  One of the proposed rules requires commercial operators to have a pilot’s license. The agency also plans to group all drones weighing less than 55 pounds under one set of rules. That would dash hopes for looser rules on the smallest drones, popular in agriculture.
