Recent news from the Illinois Propane Gas Association notes that the state has 20% more propane on hand this year than last, and that propane use for crop drying – though farmers are facing a wet harvest – is down some 45% compared to the same time last season. The data suggests that this year might not be as trying as last in terms of supply crunches and spot price hikes.
