A compilation of weather models indicates northern Illinois may have a sloppy harvest, but the rest of the state should see normal rainfall during October. Weather models show the northern half of the Cornbelt will have a 40% chance of being wetter than usual during the month of October, while the southern half of the Cornbelt will generally find normal amounts of precipitation.
